Support for football organisations

Environmental audits, strategy development, staff training, and engaging your wider community on the journey.

FFF offer industry-leading sustainability support services for clubs and football organisations, available as a package or individual components.

Our sustainability experts carry out environmental audits (including carbon ‘bootprints’), develop sustainability strategies (with clear departmental action plans), and can support you to engage your staff and community in your work (through staff training and educational workshops).

We have worked with organisations across the football pyramid - from the Premier League to non-league clubs - helping to build capacity and empowering them with the tools they need to react to, and tackle, climate change.

Our Services

  • Climate workshops for football industry professionals that educate and tangibly empower staff to join the climate conversation and take sustainable action in the worksplace.

  • A comprehensive baseline audit of your organisation, including a carbon ‘bootprint’.

  • An overarching sustainability policy commitment and departmental action plans, delivered as a bespoke Sustainability Manual.

  • External launch of your sustainability campaign, engaging fans, media and wider stakeholders.

  • We deliver climate education workshops for the next generation of football fans at club academies, foundations and schools. More here.

  • Get in touch about our Carbon Transfer Compass (CTC), a new methodology which allows football players, individuals and organisations to take responsibility for the environmental cost of their emissions by donating to climate initiatives to build a more environmentally sustainable culture in football.

There’s currently no sustainable solution for the environmental cost of air travel. Football organisations need to acknowledge the impact that their flights (both domestic and international) have on the natural world and introduce carbon considerations into their travel policies. The Carbon Transfer Compass takes us one step closer to football supporting the environment it operates in.
