FFF return to Glastonbury 2024!

FFF had the pleasure of returning to Glastonbury this year to speak about the beautiful game and its transformative potential on The Information Stage at Silver Hayes, hosted by Johnny Kay from VERSUS.

Following on from last year’s talk at The Speaker’s Forum with New Zealand international Katie Rood and the PFA’s Sustainability Champion and Wycombe Wanderers midfielder David Wheeler, our co-director, Barney Weston, discussed the future of football with Blanco, Maya Le Tissier and Ceylon Andi Hickman.

We had a fantastic time speaking about all things football, culture, and social change, specifically discussing:

  • How sustainability issues uniquely impact the women's game compared to the men's.

  • The relationship between football fashion and climate change

  • The wider connections between football and environmental sustainability

  • How it was (going to) come home

Special thanks to VERSUS and Chloe Gamble for organising the event. It was a privilege to share the stage with such inspiring individuals and to engage with an audience passionate about the future of football.
