FFF Founder Recognised by VERSUS 50

We are proud to congratulate our Co-Founder Elliot Arthur-Worsop for his recognition in ‘VERSUS 50’, as one of the 50 individuals shaping the future of football culture through his work with Football for Future, in empowering sustainability in Football.

A joint initiative by VERSUS and Chivas Regal, ‘VERSUS 50’ celebrates individuals who are redefining football culture and its influence on society, bringing together the athletes, creatives, and activists who are working to make the game more progressive. The initiative hopes to celebrate the people who are driving the impact football has as a social force on music, fashion, art, social activism and sustainability.

Elliot joins an illustrious list including footballers Trent Alexander-Arnold and Raheem Sterling for community work, Hector Bellerin and Ian Wright for promoting inclusivity, and Leah Williamson and Katie McCabe for advancing gender equality in the sport. Other awardees include Calum Jacobs, recognised for documenting Black experiences in football, and Miriam Walker-Khan, journalist and founder of an online platform elevating South Asian female representation in sport. The VERSUS’ “Class of 2024” celebrates these changemakers who are redefining the sport’s role in society.

We agree with VERSUS that football is one of the most powerful cultural forces in society today. This recognition of Elliot’s work highlights the growing importance of sustainability in football and how trailblazers like him are helping bring sustainability to the heart of the conversation around the game’s future, alongside an incredible group of individuals looking to make the beautiful game more inclusive and progressive. We look forward to seeing how football continues to embrace activism, equality, culture, and sustainability. Well done, Elliot!
